My Afro punk London 2017 Experience

This past weekend (Sunday) I attended Afro punk festival in London, this was my first time attending, and as you could imagine I was super excited... to match the vibes of the event I even changed my hair 👩🏽

Like every event I have attended, there is always  pros and cons, and unfortunately for this event the bad outweighed the good in my opinion.. so just to be fair I'm gonna break it down from the very start, the tickets I thought were slightly overpriced but u know, I just couldn't resist... so we got to the event pretty early and went on the queue to get in, the security was absolutely top notch, we got searched including our bags etc no liquids were allowed in the building, which is totally understandable, my heart dropped tho when the guy threw my fanta in the bin😒

So as bloggers I thought it would be perfect to have my sister come with me as she is also my photographer, right at the entrance the guy at the security mentioned we were not allowed to use big cameras, well as you could imagine mood went from 10 to 3😏... 

we walked in and the place was pretty dark,I mean for anyone who uses iPhone I'm sure u know how this phones fails in the dark.. 

As I mentioned we got in pretty early so the place was empty, we walked around.. there were some really impressive items.

All in all we spent about an hour and there just wasn't anything to see anymore.. I'm a bloggers who documents events like that and without saying too much I was quite disappointed.

So y'all know I love me a good event, so this past weekend.. Saturday to be precise I attended another event by the lovely Scarlet London.

First impressions always set the tone for me, the event hall was so beautiful, I had to make a trip to the bathroom and guys even that place was beautiful designed..😅erm moving on.. blogger events are really all about mingling with fellow bloggers and of course brand reps..

#Lostinsummer party for Quiz Clothing

 So this is an exciting one, hey guys I'm sure if you have been keeping up, with my snap chat and Instagram stories..you would have had a snippet of this very exciting event I attended yesterday. 

The lovely people at Quiz clothing invited me to a #lostinsummer party which took place at the newly relaunched Stratford Westfield store. They were generous to send me an outfit from there #lostinsummer collection 😍which I actually got to pick myself.. just for you guys I will leave all the details here , also check out there beautiful Occasion dresses .

The event was very well organised, the entrance had a lovely tropical flower arch, giving the room that summer feel. 😍y'all know I love a good cocktail 🍹..lol, I had a few of those and of course that was followed by a few dance moves because the DJ was on point. 💃🏽

Most importantly I had a chance to check out there summer collection which is literally bursting with colour, everything is so different and unique but still tells the same story..#lostinsummer 🌞

VERY.CO.UK AW17 FASHION PRESS LAUNCH. #VeryAW17

I had the pleasure of attending the Very fashion press launch this week, and I have to say I loved and felt soo inspired by the collection as inspired i can't wait till the collection goes on sale in September 😍.The event was held at Hospital Club in Londonfashionweek on. 

 The gallery space was turned into a digital of V by Very Womenwear, footwear and accessories. I met lots of amazing people including Very's own designers, buyers and it was nice seeing Alexandra again.

Bright Light's AW17 press day 2017

It was such an honour to attend the Bright Light's AW17 press day, which was held in London. I love attending "collection " press days because as a fashion blogger it's exciting to know what new designs will be in the next season. 💃🏽

My outfit of the day was a black playsuit from primark and brown flats as it was a hot day.... 22 degrees to be precise 😳..

The event was amazing, I loved how intimate it felt, it's always nice to get a one on one with the designers, who were so lovely by the way. 

There is always that brand that catches your eye and for me it was Mimineag.com it was literally love at first sight.. everything was screaming my name 🤣.

Blogosphere Valentines Tea Party.

Hey guys hope you are enjoying your Saturday, I have had a lovely Saturday it involved attending and an amazing bloggers event #Blogosphere valentines tea party, hosted and organised by blogosphere magazine, who by the way have hosted the most amazing events I have attended. 

The event was held at Lumiere London, located in Southwark. The studio had a beautiful set up, felt like I was on a movie set . 

For this event I put together a very simple outfit, I'm not gonna go into it, as this blog is about the event .. don't worry they will be pictures.😀

This event was extremely informative, there was a lot of networking, chitchatting and just catching up. As it was a tea party, there was also some nibbles, cakes and cocktails, making it even more beautiful.😍

Networking in the blogging industry is very important, I will probable do a blog on this topic for those interested. Blogosphere magazine invited a few companies.

New year new me! HBC NETWORKING EVENT

New year New me. Only kidding guys 😂it's still me, just trying to improve myself.. So this year I made a conscious decision to live more healthily. So to kick start that, i attended a HBC networking event  (Health Bloggers Community), it was held at Work.Life, London.

I'm a firm believer in trying new things and doing whatever makes you happy. 

Heathy me = Happy me😀. 

The event was hosted by Fab Giovanetti, Laura Bell and Cassandra Kemp who are members of the HBC team. I was greeted with a refreshing Twisted Halo coconut cocktail made with no added sugar. Before the event ended there was a Q&A with dancer and fitness blogger Healthy Fit Fran .

I personally found it very informative and I got to speak to some interesting people, we shared ideas, goals etc. All in all it was an amazing event and I can't wait to attend more of these.

Christmasbloggersbash 2016 bloggers event .

I attended #Christmasbloggersbash in carmbrige on the weekend, as you guys already know I love going to bloggers event because I always come back having learnt a thing or two. 

The event was at a restaurant called Novi in Cambridge and was hosted by Philippa Artus and  Sophie Kate who were so welcoming.

My outfit for the event was a 90s looks. I styled this vintage jumpers that I bought from Brighton ( one of the vintage shops) with legging and black thigh high boots to keep me warm as it winter. 

Haha after wearing the leggings shorts I went and changed to full leggings, I could feel the cold freezing my thighs.

I met lots of friendly people, can't wait for the next event.
